Commission Issues Order Accepting and Suspending SFPP Tariffs

On May 8, 2015, the Commission issued an order accepting and suspending SFPP, L.P.’s (“SFPP”) revised tariff records modifying its current East Line and West Line rates. The Commission accepted and suspended the proposed tariff records, subject to refund and further Commission order pending the resolution of other proceedings in related dockets. The Commission order concerning SFPP’s East Line rates is available here, and the order regarding SFPP’s West Line rates is available here.

 

Commission Issues Order On Calnev/SFPP Joint Tariff

On May 8, 2015, the Commission issued an order accepting and suspending the proposed joint tariff filed by Calnev Pipe Line, LLC to implement new joint rates with SFPP, L.P. The Commission accepted and suspended the joint tariff, subject to refund and further Commission order pending the outcome of other proceedings in related dockets. FERC Okays Commercial Aspects of Kinder Morgan’s Palmetto Project May 8, 2015

Kinder Morgan estimates that southeastern customers could save as much as 6 cents per gallon in light of the recent approval from FERC.

AOPL Annual Business Conference
September 15-18, 2015

The AOPL 2015 Annual Business Conference will be held September 15-18 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Conference will kick-off with an opening reception on September 15, and pre-conference introductory track sessions for new entrants to the industry. Pre-conference Industry Roundtable events will also be held for employees of AOPL member companies the morning of September 16. The Plenary Session on the afternoon of September 16 will address key FERC topics and how they could affect the oil pipeline industry including a discussion of industry trends and insights by some leading industry executives. Conference sessions for oil pipeline industry participants on September 17 and 18 will cover a wide range of accounting, tariff, legal and business development topics.

Pipeline Knowledge & Development – Upcoming Classes

Pipeline Knowledge & Development will be teaching its popular Oil and Gas Pipeline Fundamentals class on May 27th and 28th in Houston concurrently with Oil and Gas Pipelines for NonTechnical Professionals.
