Schedule of meeting sessions and special events

Please join the Association of Oil Pipe Lines (AOPL) for the 2013 Annual Business Conference September 17-20 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa. The Annual Business Conference is one of the best opportunities to get to know your counterparts in the industry while learning and obtaining valuable CPE/CLE credits.

Back by popular demand are 1) the pre-conference Introductory Track for new entrants in the industry and 2) the Strategy Roundtable Breakfast. Both sessions will be Wednesday, September 18 at 8:00 am. The Industry Roundtable is for AOPL members only and planned as an interactive forum for more experienced members to discuss topical industry issues and share insights with peers and industry professionals. During the registration process, please indicate your interest in being invited by AOPL to the Strategy Roundtable Breakfast. AOPL encourages each member company to send only a small number of employees involved in FERC and PHMSA policy issues, with the goal of engaging in high level policy discussions. AOPL will issue invitations as the event approaches.

Some topics that will be covered during the traditional workshops include:

FERC Accounting Standards
Innovative Tariff Types
Pipeline Legal Issues
Regulatory Insights for Business Development

The Plenary Session on September 18 will again address key FERC topics and how they could affect the oil pipeline industry.

AOPL will host a Welcome Reception from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Tuesday, September 17. With a large number of attendees arriving on Tuesday, this event provides another opportunity for participants to mingle and network. This will be a casual event within walking distance and with lots of food and beverages.

If you have any questions or need additional information please feel free to contact Heather Keith at 202-292-4507.
